My view, why Obama is the WRONG candidate for the President of the United States of America
 

I'm writing this as an immigrant from Germany, but in my heart I'm American since many, many years. I live like an American, I feel like an American, I think like an American – that I would say I am feeling as American, who was unfortunately born in Germany. America is my home and I wouldn't like to see, if the traditional values of the United States are betrayed. We are blessed to live in such a great country with real values on which this country was built and on which we must continue to stand.

I came from Germany in 2007, so I'm able to inform you and to show you, what you can expect, if Barack Hussein Obama will become President of the United States of America and will translate his (and the Liberals) ideas and plans into action. I lived (too long) in such a system, Obama is heading to! Obama is leading America down a path of self destruction. At the end of this letter to the citizens of America I'll give an overlook and some information about the situation in Germany, a country which is turning left/socialistic more and more.

First some questions: Obama was abroad to apologize. For what did he apologize?

• that the Americans must do the dirty work in Iraq, because the German leftist polit-amateurs Gerhard Schroeder (also known as „Gas-Gerd“ because of his high payed job for the Russian Oil/Gas Company, i.e. kickbacks) and Joseph Fischer (a leftist guy who regularly participated in demonstrations with violence and bashed a defenseless policeman end of the 60ies) weakend resolve against Saddam to strengthen his election chances?

• that the USA pays a lot of money to the UN to get insulted and thwarted by the Leftist and Muslim Dictators within the UN? (we shouldn't pay any money to them, cancel the membership and tell them, that they have to leave N.Y. within 12 months)

• that the USA fight the war against the Terrorism to preserve our freedom – and the freedom of other countries too?

• that the American president is -first of all- the president of the Americans? (but Obama assures, that he is a world citizen – will he therefore become the president of the world?)

To speak with Obama's words: Yes, I think the American people want the CHANGE (and in my opinion: we will get this change with Gov. Palin – she made the change in Alaska and she IS Change, while Obama only speaks about)! But the change back to the traditional american values, not to the Obama-values. I guess, a lot of people in the Obama-Hype only heard the word CHANGE, but didn't know or didn't understand which change Obama has in mind – he wants the Change in the wrong direction, not back to but away from the traditional american values towards Europe2.0 and here are some information about what's wrong in Obama's change:

1.the legal practice
by now, the judges simply administer justice according to the laws – they should do so!
You have done a felony? The law tells you what happens - period!
Obama wants the judges to do „social work“. That's nonsense. Can you imagine the results?
I don't think so, but I can tell you about the situation in Germany.

There are a lot of criminals in German streets with 40, 50 or 60 felonies under their belt and they are still free!!! To be honest: a lot of them (I guess the majority) are young Muslims. At every felony, the judges say: ok, you had a bad youth, you are in a foreign country (ha, most of them are born in Germany), you had not the same chances as the Germans (nonsense, the schools are free of charge, they only have to attend and to learn, in the same way as the immigrants from other countries -with our culture, like Italy, Spain, etc.- do and these young boys and girls get their High School diploma and visit the universities like the Germans do – everybody has the same chance, some take advantage, some not), etc. blablabla and they were released on licence (usually a licence must be revoked with the next felony but they get the next probation). That's the way judges do „social work“. One example from Germany: in February 2007 a 18 year old guy (muslim) with a lot of felonies under his belt bashed a father of four in presence of his kids without any reason into the coma and invalidity. The judge only warned him because he had a „positive social prognosis“ (he had a job, his girl-friend was pregnant). 3 weeks after this sentence, this guy again bashed somebody without any reason and injured this person heavily. Do we want something like this in the USA? Do we want that the judges do such a „social work“ instead of simply administering justice according to the law? BTW: we should remember Ronald Reagan: „We must reject the idea that every time a law is broken, Society is guilty rather than the lawbraker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions“

2.„Social gifts“, redistribution of the money
I guess, here in the USA, most of the people have still the (in my opionion) traditional american values, some of them are: be responsible for yourself, help other people, who are in trouble, stand together with your community and your country.

But this (as one of the lot of disadvantages) can and will change with more and more heading in a socialist direction because then the people become lazy and indifferent and are expecting help from the government (that's nothing what will happen within 2 or 3 years but within decades): „the government will take care of us!“. We don't need more government, more taxes, more "social gifts" (which make the people dependent from the government and "produces" reliable voters usually for the liberals), etc. because this destroys the original American values. I don't want to be misunderstood: I'm against "social gifts" (in form of welfare-payments from the government for anybody) but not against helping people who deserve it (and bring them back on the track or if not possible because of sickness, etc. allow them a reasonable life). But this can only be done within a smaller community (small town), because in a smaller community you know your people, you know if Joe Smith really deserve help or if he is only a lazy dog who doesn't want to work and waits till the community pays his bills. Each case is an individual case. The Government (neither in Washington, nor in the capitals of the states) cannot have the possibility to value each case and if, they need a large organization, that costs a lot of money, additional to the expenses for the welfare - and all this is payed by the taxpayers. So, I think that it's better to have less (at least not more) governmental programs but more from private foundations, churches, the community, etc. and volunteers who help people. But, again, this is only practicable if we have less government, which then doesn't need so much money (lower taxes), so the people have more for themselves and are ready, willing and able to help on a private basis, to give donations within the community or to foundations or organizations they want to support (and people will do that rather than paying high taxes). It's like a circulation: people work/make business, earn money, pay only a small amount in taxes, have a lean government (which concentrates on his main duties and let the responsibility for their life at the people themselves), people have enough money to consume (which is good for the economy and also the government, because they will get a higher amount of taxes without raising the tax-rates, respectively the government can lower the taxes and still gets the same amount on taxes) and to help other people in the community, etc. - I know, it sounds a little bit utopian (we will never reach the 100%-level – but we should try it) but I think it's a vision for a "change" (to use Obama words), but a change in the right direction, back to the traditional american values and not an "Obama-change" to socialistic ideas.

Have a look to Germany (and also the other countries in Europe). Their social systems are bankrupt (if they would be a company, they were in insolvency) and costs the taxpayer a lot of money! And: there are a lot of people having more money by monthly welfare checks than a father who works the long day hard! Some families are getting welfare checks since generations – in such families nobody knows, what „working“ means but all of them know how to get the money from the government! This are reliable voters for the leftists! They want more government! To say it very simple: the socialists take the money from the working people and redistribute it to the people who often don't want to work, who are literally too lazy (or sometimes to stupid) and this people are reliable voters for the socialist, literally a special „breed“ that will follow the ideas of the socialists and that's also a circulation: more social gifts means higher taxes, higher taxes means economy goes down, jobs get lost, more people are in need of welfare, government needs more money, etc. - and we will get more and more government. That's in few words the socialistic idea and plan (do you know only one socialistic country with a good economy?).

3.health insurance:
the American system is not as bad as the liberals want to tell you. It could be improved, but this must be done very carefully! The priority must be: everybody is responsible for himself! The government should not be the „Big Daddy“ who takes care for everything. Government should only give the „general framework“- not more. The government should limit themselves to the basic duties. Everything the government is doing additionally is expensive and costs the taxpayer's money! Look to Germany: the compulsory health insurance funds are chronically out of pocket and raise their fees (btw: the doctors, nurses, etc. are paid much less than here in the USA). And by the way: the health insurance is not free of charge - the high health insurance premiums are percentagewise deducted from the paycheck! The whole system is morbid. This cannot be a role model. So you realize what this means: The Federal, State, and Local health expenditures paid for by tax money in the USA is about the same as the entire Gross National Product of France! (from the book “Anti-Americanism-published in France)

4.environment/climate change:
you should be glad, that the USA doesn't follow Al Gore, the pope of the Church of Global Warming, like especially Germany with his Green Polit-amateurs. That's a big story, brought up by Al Gore to become a Billionaire by dealing with certificates through a company he has shares from. Of course, there is a climate change – but it's not (or only by a very, very small percentage, maybe less than one-tenth of a percent) caused by the human beings. And in the meantime, more and more reputable scientist state, that not the CO2 is responsible for the global warming (by the way: some scientists expect it to become cooler and besides, the largest gas contributing to any warming in the atmosphere is water vapor – hardly a man-made gas ... you'll find tons of information about this issue at Links). There were climate changes since this planet exists and also warming phases at times without industry, without cars, with less human beings, so common sense will tell us, that the hype about the global warming is only an instrument to get more money out of your pockets in the name of the environment. Again, let's watch to Germany: the „global warming“ for example is a reason for senseless political activities that costs money. Who pays? The taxpayer! Of course, we should do what we can to preserve and protect the environment, we should save fossile fuels, but not because of the global warming but because of our dependence from foreign oil (which is in the hands of our enemies: Chavez, Putin, the Muslim-Countries) and that's the next point:

5.the energy policy:
we MUST drill within the USA! There are possibilities to work relatively environment friendly. We must become independent! Rather sooner than later! Obamas argumentation, that drilling will not help us now is right, BUT: that's not an argument for NOT starting, because if we don't start now, we get more and more dependent. Obamas plans are shortsighted (I guess, because of the fact, that the relief would not come within his presidency -if he would be elected- this is not worth for him thinking about). Of course, we should also look for alternative energies parallel, but NOT burning food! We all pay the price for this. There are other possibilities. I know, that here in the USA some companies and organizations are doing researchs about oil from algaes, a very interesting alternative.

Some comments to the raising prices for gas, food, etc.:
In my opinion, that's a global problem. China, India and some other countries have a high demand for oil, so there are more buyer asking for the same quantity of a product. Result is, that the prices goes up – that's the market. No government can influence this – we only can, as mentioned above, do anything to become independent! Higher prices for oil causes higher prices for nearly all products (production, transport, etc. are more expensive). Additionally, the useage of food for fuel causes higher prices. One of the main reasons food prices have risen is that futures trading has become a realm of fear, not realitiy,. There has been little or no disruption of food supplies the world over. Don’t’ believe me? Do your research at places like the UN – hardly a place of pro-Western ideals.

But: be aware, that our costs for the living in the USA are lower than in Germany (ok, not, if you live in N.Y., California and at all this „in“-locations – but there are similar „expensive“ locations in Europe too).

If you take all this issues into consideration, there is no reason to vote for Obama, because with his program, plans and ideas he will change in ANY of the mentioned points in the wrong direction with results, I know from Germany and I can tell you – you wouldn't like these results! I know both sides of the coin and I can assure you: we are blessed to live here in the USA!

And, btw, the above mentioned arguments are very weightly and there are enough reasons to vote for John McCain/Sarah Palin (again: she IS the Change – the change in the right direction and she proved this in Alaska) but here is an additional (in my opinion a very important) point on the character: is it ok, if a President is not patriotic and his wife is only proud of America the first time in her life because her husband is running for the presidency?

Here is the overlook about Germany, I mentioned at the beginning of this letter and you see the endresult of left/liberal politics: the official unemployment in Germany is at app. 8% (I guess that – because of people in governmental programs and therefore out of the statistics and people who are not registered – the inofficial number might be 12 to 13%), the tax rates are at 19% sales tax (food 7%), tax for income is 15 to 45% (plus additional solidarity tax, church-tax), the gas is highly taxed (the cost per gallon is app. 9 Usdollar), energy is very expensive. The costs for social security are high, so you pay for health insurance app. 13% of your income, for the pension, you pay app. 20% (but in spite of the high payments, the amount you'll get when you retire is to small for living) and for unemployment you pay app. 4% (employer pays 50%). And again: the health insurance is not free of charge - the high health insurance premiums are percentagewise deducted from the paycheck!

The SED (the party from former East Germany, responsible for the murders at the wall), now after several renamings called „Linke“ (lefts), but the same people in the background and the same insane ideas (they would like to have a „better“ DDR2.0) are prognosticated to get 14% or more at the next election. The lefts tell you, what you are allowed to think and to say and what's the „right“ opinion. You have another opinion? You are warning about upcoming problems, caused by the politics of the lefts? You might get under pressure! One example: Roland Koch, a conservative politician (CDU, Christian Democratic Union), „Ministerpraesident“ of Hessen (Governor of a State), demanded to deport aliens, who commit a crime in their original countries. The reaction was, that he was blamed by the lefts/liberals, that he is a „Nazi“ - and he lost a lot of votes at the election (now the SPD wants to team up and cooperate with the Green Party and the above mentioned SED/Linke to get the power in Hessen).

So, again: we are blessed to live in the USA and we should NOT jeopardize our rights, our traditional values and our freedom.

A last recommendation: we should be very careful in respect of the Muslims here in the USA (a statement of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Muslim, Turkey's prime minister: Democracy is only the vehicle we use until we reach our goal. The mosques are our barracks, the minarets are our bajonets, the domes are our helmets, the believers our soldiers). In Europe the Muslims have a very high quota of the population and a lot of them live in „parallel worlds“ and try to rule Europe and to live in accordance to their rules, the Sharia, etc. - these people don't accept our values and our laws. It's undoubted, that their values are not compatible with ours (we are the enemies, the „infidels“)! We must make clear, that everybody who wants to live in the USA has to accept our rules and we have to appoint this in a very early stage. Have a look to Europe and you see what happens if you don't make this very clear from the beginning! So you know, Sharia law is more of an ideologiy designed to oppress women and non-Muslims. Societies ruled by this sort of law stagnate and go backwards economically, socially, and over all opportunity.

There might be some Muslims out there in the USA, who accept our rules and our values (as long as they don't fall into the clutches of their organizations) and we should encourage them to stand to this moderate way of living their faith. I don't have a problem with any religion as long as their follower accept all other religions as well as the rules and values of THIS country (including the human rights), otherwise they should better go back to their countries where they can live in accordance to their rules!

This is my sight of the election 2008 and the situation in the USA – my country!

Remark I - Sept. 4^th 2008

Yesterday, I saw the speeches at the RNC. I liked all of them, but Romney's was exactly about the issues, I wrote about in my statement above. I can assure you: everything, he said is the truth - 100%!

Some thoughts about Obama vs. Palin (it's curious, that we now compare Obama with Palin; Obama is running for President, Palin "only" for VP):

• Obama seems to be involved in some obscure issues (Rezko, etc). Palin fighted against corruption even in their own party!
  Who might change Washington?

• Palin made a lot of decisions (as mayor, governor and also prior to her political career) - she has executive experience. Which decisions made Obama: he voted mostly "present" and his "life's work" till now was to write two books - about himself.
  Who is supposed to be the better leader?

• Palin stands for her words, you can count on her - independent if the medias or "groups", organisations or even the party like her opinion. Obama can tell you several versions of his opinion (sometimes very strong varying - not only in nuances) within only a few hours, depending who is asking him about this issue.
  Whom can you trust more?

Palin as the VP-candidate has more experience and is more eligible to become President of the United States of America as Obama, who's running for this office! I guess, that's the reason for the mud-throwing of the Democrats - they don't find neither any negative about her political work nor real bad things in her personality. But Obama and his supporters (and the medias) should remember this: the ones who rummages in shit (sorry for my french) stinks the most afterwards!
 

Remark II - Sept. 10^th 2008

The MSM (‘Mass Media’ - the major news channels) with prime offenders being NBC, CNN and ABCNEWS continue to declare that Palin does not have female (and male) supporters despite evidence to the contrary that many women (and males) across many demographics love Gov Sarah Palin including Democrats and previously Hillary supporters.

To add insult to injury, they smear her family with the most sexist, disgusting and inappropriate remarks.

Remark III - Oct. 7^th 2008

My 2^ndletter to the American Citizens: I have a déjà-vu!

In 1998 the Green Party in Germany came into power together with the social(istic) party of Germany (SPD) and Germany changed dramatically. It was a similar situation: Helmut Kohl was chancellor for 16 years, the voters said „That's enough“ and voted for Schroeder/Fischer (remember: Schroeder and Fischer are responsible for the Iraq-war, because they weakened resolve against Saddam to strengthen their election chances in 2002 at the end of their first term – that was an additional similar situation: they spoke about „peace“ and that only they can remain the world in peace). 1998, a lot of people voted for Schroeder/Fischer not because of their politics but only because they didn't want Helmut Kohl for another 4 years – but with Schroeder/Fischer it became worse.

Some background information about Mr. Fischer and his Green Party: in the Green party, you'll find a lot of ex-members of communistic parties (for example: Juergen Trittin, a former secretary, was an ex-member of a communistic party) as well as a lot of people who were involved in the violent activities of the 68er-movements, so also Mr. Fischer himself: he was a thief (he has stolen books in the libraries to fund his war against the society), he bashed at least once (there are photos available about this case) a defensless policeman, he organized riots and he was involved in some obscure cases (for example: in his car were found a weapon which was used to assassinate a politician). This Mr. Fischer became the foreign minister. During his term was the „visa-scandal“: thousands of people from the Ukraine got a visa without proper verification – you can imagine the results!? Fischer is unpatriotic (as apparently all socialists are) and here is one quote from Fischer: Germany must be regulated from the outside and weakened from the inside by influx (Fischer's book „The German Risc“ 1994).

Sounds familiar? You see some parallels with Obama, Ayers, Wright?

OK, DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES, THE GERMANS MADE!
HAVE A LOOK TO GERMANY AND EUROPE AND LEARN FROM HISTORY!
DON'T VOTE FOR OBAMA!

Remark IV - Oct. 12^th 2008: The financial crisis. Think about!

The voters see Obama as the person, who can save the economy, although the democrats are for example, responsible for the problems with Fannie and Freddie. So, the present finance crisis benefits Obama.

Let's shed light on the people around Obama and his (very wealthy) supporters, especially one of them: George Soros.

George Soros is an in my opinion obscure person. At Wikipedia, you can read the following about Soros:

„Soros is famously known for "breaking the Bank of England" on Black Wednesday in 1992. With an estimated current net worth of around $9 billion, he is ranked by Forbes as the 99th-richest person in the world“

and

„On Black Wednesday (September 16, 1992), Soros became immediately famous when he sold short more than $10 billion worth of pounds, profiting from the Bank of England's reluctance to either raise its interest rates to levels comparable to those of other European Exchange Rate Mechanism countries or to float its currency.

Finally, the Bank of England was forced to withdraw the currency out of the European Exchange Rate Mechanism and to devalue the pound sterling, and Soros earned an estimated US$ 1.1 billion in the process. He was dubbed "the man who broke the Bank of England."

The Times of Monday, October 26, 1992, quoted Soros as saying: "Our total position by Black Wednesday had to be worth almost $10 billion. We planned to sell more than that. In fact, when Norman Lamont said just before the devaluation that he would borrow nearly $15 billion to defend sterling, we were amused because that was about how much we wanted to sell."

According to Steven Drobny, Stanley Druckenmiller, who traded under Soros, originally saw the weakness in the pound. "Soros' contribution was pushing him to take a gigantic position," in accord with Druckenmiller's own research and instincts.

In 1997, during the Asian financial crisis, then Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad accused Soros of using the wealth under his control to punish ASEAN for welcoming Myanmar as a member. Later, he called Soros a moron. Thai nationals have called Soros "an economic war criminal" who "sucks the blood from the people".

So, Soros is able and (in my opinion) also willing to create a crash at the stock exchange. He also has a lot of connections and we know very well, that a lot of our enemies, which have a lot of money (Russia, China, etc.) would like to see Obama as president of the USA (btw. the stock exchange in Russia and in one Asian country was closed for a few days ...)

Let's hypothesize, that all of them agreed to create a crash at the stock exchange and blame the Bush administration and the Republicans to be responsible because of their economic politics and to eulogize Obama as the Messiah who is able to save the economy.

Soros' activities in the past show, that he would be able to initiate such a crisis. And -as we know by now- such a crisis would help „his“ candidate.

I would call this a terroristic act – if this really would have happened in this way! Think about!

BTW, do you know, who is also on Obama's special "Board" he installed to consult him: Warren Buffet (he's very wealthy), one of the Google co-founders (Google, you remember, that's the company, that controls the internet and is able to list only the sites, they want you to see and to block the sites, they don't want you to find), etc. - all of these guys are supporting Obama. Do you really think, that Obama will do anything to hurt them? For me, it's clear, that his statements, he will give 95% of the people a tax-cut (including the 50% who doesn't pay taxes ... lol) and get the money, he needs for the realization of his socialistic plans, from the 5%, is a fake and a fairy-tale to get the votes of the "poor" and the middle-class.

Some additional information about Soros (from Wikipedia):
In an interview with The Washington Post on November 11, 2003, Soros said that removing President George W. Bush from office was the "central focus of my life" and "a matter of life and death." He said he would sacrifice his entire fortune to defeat President Bush, "if someone guaranteed it".

Soros gave $3 million to the Center for American Progress, committed $5 million to MoveOn, while he and his friend Peter Lewis each gave America Coming Together $10 million. (All were groups that worked to support Democrats in the 2004 election.) On September 28, 2004 he dedicated more money to the campaign and kicked off his own multi-state tour with a speech: Why We Must Not Re-elect President Bush delivered at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.

During the 2003-2004 election cycle, Soros donated $23,581,000 to various 527 Groups dedicated to defeating President Bush.

After Bush's reelection in 2004, Soros and other wealthy liberal political donors backed a new political fundraising group called Democracy Alliance which aims to support the goals of the U.S. Democratic Party.

Soros has been criticized for his large donations, as he also pushed for the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 which was intended to ban "soft money" contributions to federal election campaigns. Soros has responded that his donations to unaffiliated organizations do not raise the same corruption issues as donations directly to the candidates or political parties.

Remark V - Oct. 16^th 2008 - Immigration

Again, I see parallels between Germany/Europe and the plans of Obama.

The combination of making illegal immigrants to citizens (or at least open our welfare-system and social security-system to them), opening the borders and installing his redistribution-system will destroy America (not tomorrow or next month but middle-term).

The same happened and still happens in Germany (and also other European countries): the borders are open, instead of chosing the immigrants, who are allowed to come to the country to get only those, who are able and willing to serve the country and the community, those who are well educated, those who accept our values, those whom the citizen will welcome, they get the "wrong" folks, immigrants who are coming only to participate on the welfare, funded by the taxpayers and very often living in their parallel worlds (in the worst case with their own rules, Sharia-laws, etc.).

Germany has an immigration in the welfare and social security-systems - and America will get in the same mess with Obama's plans.

Believe me, Germany and most of the European countries are 20 years ahead of America in this respect -- we should learn from their mistakes and not make the same! And if we do, it will take not 20 years to get the same problems -- we will have them in 10 years or earlier!

By making the illegal immigrants (in the phrase "illegal immigrants" is one important word: ILLEGAL) to citizens or at least open our welfare-system and social security-system to them, we would open doors, we'll never get closed again. We will be flooded with uneducated folks, bringing their families, the majority not willing to learn our language, not willing to integrate (even less assimilate) and in the worst case trying to destroy America and the American values (even by terrorist activities). And all these folks are reliable voters for the liberal/leftist/socialists, who provide them with the "social gifts", the taxpayers have to pay for!

Don't push the START-button for such politics by voting for Obama (there's no STOP-button to end this, if startet once)

You don't know the results, you don't know what to expect, because you (fortunately) never made this experience in this great country - I made this experiences and I can promise you: you wouldn't like these results!
 

Remark VI - Oct. 16^th 2008 - Obama's credibility

I have some problems with Obama's credibility!

He was (and I presume: he still is) lying so often. He lied about Wright, he lied about Ayers, he lied about ACORN.

Example: after several people, blogger spoke and wrote about the issue Ayers, Obama said that Ayers was only a „guy in the neighborhood“. As it was verified, that Ayers was more than „just a guy in the neighborhood“, he confirmed, that there was more, but he claimed, that he was not aware about Ayers' background, later he said, that he was 8 years old at the time, Ayers bombed within the USA and then he states, that on the board were also some Republicans.

Question(s):
If this connection to Ayers was and is so harmless, why hasn't he disclosed everything from beginning, with the first rumors? He lies till the evidences are on the table and he could not longer tell his lies.
Why does he admit only the facts, which are -after some investigations- on the table?
Why does he admit everything only step by step as the evidences are there?
What has or wants he to conceal?
It's like tactics at an examination of the police and your lawyer told you, that you only should admit, what the police already knows!

That's only one example and it's the same situation with Wright, Rezko, ACORN, etc.

Please ask yourself: HOW CAN WE TRUST SUCH A GUY???

BTW: the same with Obama's birth certificate. If everything is ok, why doesn't he provide the documents, why doesn't he verify, that he is born in the USA? It would be a very easy thing and this issue would be off the table. Where is the problem? John McCain did clarify this issue, why not Obama?
 

Remark VII - Oct. 19^th 2008 - Letter from a US Citizen

This guy obviously is a "self-thinker" - not just a "follower"!

Dear Friends:
My name is Joe Porter. I live in Champaign , Illinois . I'm 46 years old, a born-again Christian, a husband, a father, a small business owner, a veteran, and a homeowner. I don't consider myself to be either conservative or liberal, and I vote for the person, not Republican or Democrat. I don't believe there are "two Americas " but that every person in this country can be whomever and whatever they want to be if they'll just work to get there and nowhere else on earth can they find such opportunities. I believe our government should help those who are legitimately downtrodden, and should always put the interests of America first.

The purpose of this message is that I'm concerned about the future of this great nation. I'm worried that the silent majority of honest, hard-working, tax-paying people in this country have been passive for too long. Most folks I know choose not to involve themselves in politics. They go about their daily lives, paying their bills, raising their kids, and doing what they can to maintain the good life. They vote and consider doing so to be a sacred trust. They shake their heads at the political pundits and so-called "news", thinking that what they hear is always spun by whomever is reporting it. They can't understand how elected officials can regularly violate the public trust with pork barrel spending. They don't want government handouts. They want the government to protect them, not raise their taxes for more government programs.

We are in the unique position in this country of electing our leaders. It's a privilege to do so. I've never found a candidate in any election with whom I agreed on everything. I'll wager that most of us don't even agree with our families or spouses 100% of the time. So when I step into that voting booth, I always try to look at the big picture and cast my vote for the man or woman who is best qualified for the job. I've hired a lot of people in my lifetime, and essentially that's what an election is - a hiring process. Who has the credentials? Whom do I want working for me? Whom can I trust to do the job right?

I'm concerned that a growing number of voters in this country simply don't get it. They are caught up in a fervor they can't explain, and calling it "change".

"Change what?", I ask.
"Well, we're going to change America ", they say.
"In what way?", I query.
"We want someone new and fresh in the White House", they exclaim.
"So, someone who's not a politician?", I say.
"Uh, well, no, we just want a lot of stuff changed, so we're voting for Obama", they state.
"So the current system, the system of freedom and democracy that has enabled a man to grow up in this great country, get a fine education, raise incredible amounts of money and dominate the news, and win his party's nomination for the White House that system's all wrong?"
"No, no, that part of the system's okay we just need a lot of change."
And so it goes. "Change we can believe in."

Quite frankly, I don't believe that vague proclamations of change hold any promise for me. In recent months, I've been asking virtually everyone I encounter how they're voting. I live in Illinois , so most folks tell me they're voting for Barack Obama. But no one can really tell me why only that he's going to change a lot of stuff "Change, change, change." I have yet to find one single person who can tell me distinctly and convincingly why this man is qualified to be President and Commander-in-Chief of the most powerful nation on earth other than the fact that he claims he's going to implement a lot of change.

We've all seen the emails about Obama's genealogy, his upbringing, his Muslim background, and his church affiliations. Let's ignore this for a moment. Put it all aside. Then ask yourself, "What qualifies this man to be my president? That he's a brilliant orator and talks about change?"

CHANGE WHAT?

Friends, I'll be forthright with you I believe the American voters who are supporting Barack Obama don't have a clue what they're doing, as evidenced by the fact that not one of them - NOT ONE of them I've spoken to can spell out his qualifications. Not even the most liberal media can explain why he should be elected.

Political experience? Negligible.

Foreign relations? Non-existent.

Achievements? Name one.

Someone who wants to unite the country? If you haven't read his wife's thesis from Princeton , look it up on the web. This is who's lining up to be our next First Lady?

The only thing I can glean from Obama's constant harping about change is that we're in for a lot of new taxes.

For me, the choice is clear. I've looked carefully at the two leading applicants for the job, and I've made my choice.

Here's a question - "Where were you five and a half years ago? Around Christmas, 2002. You've had five or six birthdays in that time. My son has grown from a sixth grade child to a high school graduate. Five and a half years is a good chunk of time. About 2,000 days. 2,000 nights of sleep. 6,000 meals, give or take."

John McCain spent that amount of time, from 1967 to 1973, in a North Vietnamese prisoner-of-war camp.

When offered early release, he refused it. He considered this offer to be a public relations stunt by his captors, and insisted that those held longer than he should be released first. Did you get that part? He was offered his freedom, and he turned it down. A regimen of beatings and torture began.

Do you possess such strength of character? Locked in a filthy cell in a foreign country, would you turn down your own freedom in favor of your fellow man? I submit that's a quality of character that is rarely found, and for me, this singular act defines John McCain.

Unlike several presidential candidates in recent years whose military service is questionable or non-existent, you will not find anyone to denigrate the integrity and moral courage of this man. A graduate of Annapolis, during his Naval service he received the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Distinguished Flying Cross. His own son is now serving in the Marine Corps in Iraq. Barack Obama is fond of saying "We honor John McCain's service...BUT...", which to me is condescending and offensive - because what I hear is, "Let's forget this man's sacrifice for his country, and his proven leadership abilities, and talk some more about change."

I don't agree with John McCain on everything - but I am utterly convinced that he is qualified to be our next President, and I trust him to do what's right. I know in my heart that he has the best interests of our country in mind. He doesn't simply want to be President - he wants to lead America , and there's a huge difference. Factually, there is simply no comparison between the two candidates. A man of questionable background and motives who prattles on about change, can't hold a candle to a man who has devoted his life in public service to this nation, retiring from the Navy in 1981 and elected to the Senate in 1982.

Perhaps Obama's supporters are taking a stance between old and new. Maybe they don't care about McCain's service or his strength of character, or his unblemished qualifications to be President. Maybe "likeability" is a higher priority for them than "trust". Being a prisoner of war is not what qualifies John McCain to be President of the United States of America - but his demonstrated leadership certainly DOES.

Dear friends, it is time for us to stand. It is time for thinking Americans to say, "Enough." It is time for people of all parties to stop following the party line. It is time for anyone who wants to keep America first, who wants the right man leading their nation, to start a dialogue with all their friends and neighbors and ask who they're voting for, and why.

There's a lot of evil in this world. That should be readily apparent to all of us by now. And when faced with that evil as we are now, I want a man who knows the cost of war on his troops and on his citizens. I want a man who puts my family's interests before any foreign country.

I want a President who's qualified to lead.
I want my country back, and I'm voting for John McCain.
 

Remark VIII - Oct. 21^st 2008 - Obama, the Slum-Lord?

If the black people would know the truth about Obama, they never would vote for him.
The question is: If Obama's messianic message of "hope and change" is so powerful, why are the poor people in Chicago still poor?

Obama claims he cares about poor blacks, but a Boston Globe report exposed how for eight years Obama supported slum projects in Chicago.

Poor blacks living in rat and roach infested apartments condemned Obama for not caring about them.

Cynthia Ashley, a fourteen-year resident said: "No one should have to live like this, and no one did anything about it."

Anthony Frizzell a twenty-year resident said: "In the winter I can feel the cold air coming through the walls and the sockets."

Sharee Jones who has lived for years with the rats said: "You could hear them under the floor and in the walls, and they didn't do nothing about it."

Paul Johnson who helped organize a protest against Obama said: "Of course he knew. He just didn't care."

Showing he just didn't care, Obama wrote letters on Illinois Senate letterhead supporting government loans for slum projects.

Obama coauthored the Illinois law that gave tax breaks to his slum lord friends, including now convicted felon Tony Rezko who helped Obama buy a million-dollar house.

As a US Senator, Obama worked to increase federal subsidies for his slum lord pals who donated more than $175,000 to Obama's campaigns with Rezko raising another $200,000.

While running for president, Obama is promising to create a fund that gives his slum lord buddies $500 million a year. This is outrageous.
 

Remark IX - Oct. 22^nd 2008 - Obama's "share the wealth" test-run

I just read a nice story (submitted by Mike Santner), and then I thought about starting a "test-run" ... but first, read the story, Mike submitted:

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read “Vote Obama, I need the money.” I laughed. Once in the restaurant my server had on a “Obama 08” tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference–just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who, I deemed, more in need – the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight. I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I’ve decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, But the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn, even though the actual recipient deserved money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

OR IS IT ... REDISTRIBUTION OF SOMEONE ELSE’S WEALTH IS A GREAT IDEA ... or just a fools game !!!

The idea is: why not practice this till Nov 4th and share the wealth in the way, Mike did? I’m sure, that a lot of democrat-voter appreciate, that we show them Obama’s politic in reality! Might help them, to decide if this is a good idea or not.
 

Remark X - Oct. 22^nd 2008 - A very well written letter ...

This is a letter by a person who tells Obama why he won't support him. It’s a well-written letter with not an ounce of hate or meanness. I think both pro- and anti-folks will find this interesting. It is simply honest and heartfelt.

Dear Mr. Obama,

It is August 30, 2008. My name is Mark Gregg. I am a 50 something conservative white male. I have followed your campaign closely, including the speeches you and others made at the democratic national convention. I am respectfully providing you with seven simple reasons why I could never vote for you. I believe my opinion is shared by many people. While there may not be quite enough to prevent you from becoming president of this nation, I do think there is an awakening to the fact that you are not a (the) messiah that the media and liberal Hollywood entertainers are trying to portray you.

1. I hear your mantra of change, change, change. Yet, you picked a long term, liberal, Washington insider (Joe Biden) to be your running mate. This is NOT change. It is a move that hypocritically refutes the very thing you supposedly stand for. Your campaign then slammed McCain for picking Sarah Palin, apparently, because she is NOT a Washington insider. She is a maverick who cleaned-up Alaska's quagmire of political scandals. Which way is it, Barack? Is it okay for you to pick a Washington insider under the mantra of 'change', but not okay for John McCain to pick a smart, aggressive, reformer? A new face. That seems to represent change to me.
2. You have the single most liberal voting record in the senate. Yet for some reason, some people just will not look at this and I don't know why. This indicates to me and others like me that you may very well be an angry black man seeking to punish our country for sins of a different generation. I am not racist I have some biases just like you and every other human alive. Unlike the democratic party who claims to be for the minority (but their record heavily refutes this), I will give any person who truly needs help, help. I married a 'minority' girl 35 years ago (she is Hispanic) and have seen the evils of prejudice first hand. However, I have also seen my wife and my children and others in her family throw off the veil of self imposed prejudicial bondage and move ahead. They love our country and do not view themselves any different than I view myself as a citizen of this country. Your lovely wife so disappointed people like me during this campaign when she stated it was the first time she had ever been proud of this country. She apparently never noticed the massive aid we give dozens of other countries. She apparently never noticed the sacrifice of literally millions of veterans who helped make this country a free nation and helped liberate other nations from brutal dictators such as Adolf Hitler. She apparently does not remember that she attended ivy league universities with scholarship money that ultimately (at least some of it) was paid for by our taxes. This troubles me more than you know. If anyone should love this country that has given her every opportunity and she took it, it should be your wife, but no, she comes off bitter and angry and very much the militant radical like those you surround yourself with and we do know that your wife is who brought you and William Ayers together. She is an angry black woman who appears to not like her country very much. I don't want her representing me to the rest of the world. How can we have her as a first lady? The world knows what she said and how she feels. She has made that known to all.
3. You claim Christianity but apparently do not realize that the Bible teaches that he who does not work, does not eat. The Bible does not say or even suggest that he who CANNOT work, should not eat. Yet, your liberal policies reward people who are capable of working, but choose to not do so. This bothers me. I know that if you are elected our taxes will spiral upwards. You should heed the words of Winston Churchill: 'We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.' If I like anything about you, it is your campaign promise to balance the federal budget. Unfortunately, we have heard this a huge number of times from a number of different politicians and we realize that when you energize the very liberal Nancy P Pelosi, Robert Byrd, Ted Kennedy, etc, etc, and the many other democrats like them, a balanced budget will never, ever happen on your watch. Robert Byrd uses more bacon than any senator in the whole senate. In fact the top porkers I believe are all of your party and you sir are right up there so common sense tells me that there is no way you can ever balance a budget. I can't see you going against your own party about all their pork barreling. it is is such a large part of our mess and I am sorry but under you it will not end. it just will not.
4. During your question and answer session with Rick Warren of Saddleback Church your answer concerning the question of where does life begin, stunned me: 'Above your pay grade?' Does this mean when something bad happens as President of this nation that you are going to look at your salary to determine if you can respond? I am sorry, but this was the most serious gaffe I have seen you make. Frankly, it shows me that you are pandering in the most obvious manner. You will choose your words not from your heart, but from an agenda that I believe is still hidden from the American people. If people really listened to you, I mean really listened to you they would hear things that do not make sense or nothing at all or are down right scary.
5. If anything stands out about you it is probably your appeasement mentality. You come off as better than everyone else. You are smug. You try to tell us about your humble beginnings but it doesn't jive. Doesn't compute. In this era of rampant, radical Islamic extremism and with the latest stunt pulled by the re-energized Russian government, I am not sure appeasement is healthy. I again revert to the words of Winston Churchill: 'An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last.' Plus saying that Iran, Venezuela are small counrties and not a big threat and now you act like you never said those things when you and I both know you did. It seems also to me that you are appeasing the Jewish people just to make sure you have their vote. I hate the idea that you are banking on their naivety because I frankly can not believe that The Jewish people, seeing as what they have been through would ever go down that path again, and considering HAMAS has all but endorsed you.
6. You and your party tacitly believe that a 13 or 14 year old girl must have the parents' approval to have the school nurse provide them with a Tylenol when they have a headache at school or to get their ears pierced. Yet, this same girl can become pregnant and the school can skirt her off to a clinic and abort the child in her body without the parents knowing or being notified. But if something goes wrong medically the parents are responsible. This scares the hell out of me. You have two little girls. Would you be upset if this happened to them and you were not informed? Then why do you stand for this? It makes no sense to me. Is it that you have to walk in those shoes? To me this is insane.
7. My seventh and final point (for now) is your supporters. I have watched the Hollywood entertainers that support you, systematically embrace Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and others like him. I see the continuous smut and garbage produced by Hollywood, the very people who promote you the most vigorously. It is not a positive point to me and others like me to see these over-paid, bizarre, poor examples of human existence fawn over you and push you and your liberal agenda as hard as they do. The way that I see it, when the devil is for you, we should question whether or not we should be against you. How do you justify $28,500.00 a plate and still say that you and these people are the bridge, the connect with the American people. Again it makes no sense to me.

Remark XI - Oct. 25^th 2008 - Two important questions ...

... all voters should ask themselves and then vote very wisely:

1. all of us know, that there are a lot of leaders/“Fuehrer“/dictators of countries all over the world, who don't love us or who would like to see America down and weak: Ahmadinejad, Chavez, Putin, the Hamas, the Hezbollah, Gaddafi – to name only a few.
   Ask the question: why do they want Obama to be elected? Do they want to happen something that is good for their enemy, something that helps their enemy, something that makes their enemy strong?
   I don't think so.
   So, it's very clear, that they want to happen something, that endamage America – they want Obama to be elected to endamage America!
   Do WE want America to be endamaged?
   You don't want America to be endamaged? OK! Then vote McCain/Palin!
    
   
2. why, for God's sake, do so many people want to immigrate to the USA?
   Because America is a great country, where EVERYBODY has a chance and an opportunity!
   This country isn't as bad, the LIbEralS (read first the whole word and then only the capitals) want to tell you!
   Do you know the reason, why the people want to immigrate to Europe? The majority doesn't immigrate to Europe to get a chance or opportunity to have a living based on their own efforts but because they know, that the system the LIbEralS want to install also here in the USA, allows them to get money for doing nothing, more they can -without any education- ever earn with working. Money, which is payed by the taxpayers, the people, who are working, you know, the „share and spread the wealth“-thing (and btw.: I know about people here in the USA, who also have a good living, funded by YOU).
   Do we want a chance and opportunity for everybody or do we want to „share and spread the wealth“ to everybody, who doesn't want to work?
   You want a chance and opportunity for everybody? OK! Then vote McCain/Palin!

Obama promises (all socialists are promising, that you'll get the paradise on earth), that 95% of all Americans will pay less taxes, but let's do the math, partially based on real numbers, partially based on estimations because Obama doesn't want to tell us all the details (I guess, because we would be scared), but I can give you some numbers of Germany as well as some experienced datas of the last 12 months and then it will be really clear, what you can expect.

Let's do the math, based on
A) a single, making 30000 per year
B) married, making 60000 per year
C) single making 50000 per year
D) married making 125000 per year

Obama refundable tax-cut will be -according to his website- 500 for singles and 1,000 for married couples (both without kids), that's much less than your additional expenses, you'll have with Obama.

NOTICE: you have not only to pay attention to the amount of the tax you have to pay but also to the fact, that with Obama's plans your TOTAL expenditures will rise dramatically! So, if Obama will give you 10 bucks in your right pocket he will take 30 from your left!!!

Additionally, the higher expenses will lead to more unempolyment, because more and more companies will close and/or outsource. That means, the government needs more money to pay the welfare. If the government needs more money, guess, who will pay? YOU, because the government will raise the taxes or just invent new taxes.
